Delete your YapSend account

You can request deletion of your YapSend account and YapSend-controlled data associated with it.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@thamizhistudios.com.
Use the subject YapSend Account Deletion Request.
State that you want your YapSend account and associated server-side data deleted.
If you use optional Google Sign-In, send the request from the same Google account when possible. If you use YapSend anonymously, include any YapSend account or recovery identifier available to you. We may ask for limited information needed to verify the request.

Do not send message text, screenshots, voice recordings, or other private content unless support specifically asks for information needed to identify the account.

What is deleted

YapSend-controlled account and recovery linkage associated with the verified account;
server-side identifiers and account data that are no longer required to operate or secure the service;
eligible entitlement and balance records associated with the deleted account; and
other YapSend-controlled personal data that is not required to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction-integrity, or dispute-handling purposes.

YapSend does not use its servers as a permanent personal library for your messages, screenshots, voice recordings, or generated media. Some temporary processing data may already have expired before a deletion request is received.

What may be retained

Limited purchase, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or while reasonably necessary for those purposes. Records that no longer need to be retained are deleted or allowed to expire under the applicable service lifecycle.

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to identity verification and any legal retention requirements.

Data stored on your device

Your YapSend library, saved media, reusable preferences, and other app-local data may be stored on your device. Account deletion does not automatically erase every local file or device backup. You can remove local YapSend data by clearing the app's data and/or uninstalling YapSend, subject to your device and backup settings.

Subscriptions

Deleting your YapSend account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel an active subscription through Google Play separately.
